Hi y’all – Erinn here! I thrive off wearing many hats all of which encompass my love and pride for our Capital City. Professionally speaking, I serve as the marketing manager for Perkins Rowe, which entails cultivating relationships with current and prospective community partners, curating the property’s events, planning our media buys and so much more! Our team strives to not only be a business operating in the community but an active player in positively impacting it.

When I’m not at the Rowe, you can find me sharing my health and fitness journey – physically, mentally and emotionally – via my Instagram page, @erinnsala.fit. I began this account years ago as a means of motivating myself to push past my self-doubts and limiting beliefs. Only recently did I decide to utilize this as a platform to encourage others on their journeys as well. For me, it’s all about the community and building a tribe of like-minded #bossbabes comprised of women empowering other women. I mean, can I get a mic drop? What’s more powerful than that?!

You can also catch me obsessing over my love of all things coffee, Anthropologie, podcasts, personal development reads, Visit Baton Rouge, and more!

How long have you lived in Baton Rouge? My entire life – thanks, mom and dad! Jokes aside, I am a proud Baton Rouge native, and I love exploring all that the Capital City has to offer. Whether it’s the strong sense of community or the mouthwatering cuisine, this city is known to bring a little extra lagniappe to the table!

What is your Baton Rouge go-to coffee spot and order? Magpie Café or Brew-Ha-Ha, hands down! Although, you can usually find me taking a quick stroll to the Starbucks onsite almost daily – caffeine is surely my vice!

What is your favorite Baton Rouge hidden gem? Definitely Assembly Required’s last location! It’s a historic Mid-City warehouse building located at 212 S. 14th Street. It’s currently being renovated to help revitalize the area, and I totally foresee it being the next meeting/conference/reception hot spot. As soon as I hear wedding bells in my future, you best believe I’m booking this for my reception!

What is your favorite Baton Rouge restaurant? Ah that’s tough! The pot roast and carrot soufflé at Bistro Byronz gets me every time! You can also find me eating through the menus at Jolie Pearl, The Chimes, and Sushi Yama – girl’s gotta eat!

On a typical Saturday night, where would we find you in Baton Rouge? Ideally, you’d find me sipping on some red wine and listening to live music downtown. Realistically – LOL –  you’ll probably find me cuddled up on the couch with an Abita beer watching the latest Marvel movie with Thomas – or Grey’s when I can convince him!
