Hello Baton Rouge, my name is Kerrie Kikendall and I am the face behind the blog All Things Considered by Keki, I am a transplant to Baton Rouge but a native to Louisiana – which means I have a deep love and appreciation for all things good, especially Baton Rouge. I started my blog because I wanted to showcase all things that are important to me – food, fashion, and beauty. I love nothing more than to find a new a restaurant to try, work with a local boutique to bring their fashion styles to you, and showcase local products you didn’t know were in your backyard. I can show you all of the best things that Baton Rouge has to offer!
How long have you lived in Baton Rouge? I have been living in Baton Rouge for about 7 years. I moved to Baton Rouge after getting engaged to my now husband of 6 years.
What is your Baton Rouge go-to-coffee spot and order? I have and always will have a passion for PJs Coffee. My typical order is a non-fat cappuccino, dry with 2 stevias.
What is your Favorite Baton Rouge hidden gem? Of course, food-related, I think Magpie downtown is a hidden gem. I love the feeling I get when I walk into their location. I also love the open glass windows make you feel like you are sitting outside in the middle of downtown sipping on a cappuccino or cocktail.
What is your favorite Baton Rouge Restaurant? As the newly elected President of the Baton Rouge Chapter, Louisiana Restaurant Association, I would have to say that any restaurant in Baton Rouge is my favorite, as I support all of them. (truth) Baton Rouge has a great group of locally owned restaurateurs and I would be honored to eat in any of their establishments.
On a typical Saturday night, where would we find you in Baton Rouge? As a mom, I am typically spending my Saturday night building forts in the living room with my two boys. If my husband and I get the opportunity to have a night out, we typically go to dinner and enjoy some great food at a local Baton Rouge restaurant.
